Refund policy
TLDR Summary
- You can return most items within 30 days from order arrival (or by end of January for orders placed in Nov/Dec) if theyʼre unused, with tags attached and in original packaging. If you think you may need to return something, open the packaging carefully so that you can return it.
- Some products are non-returnable, please view the individual return policy on the product page. Limited releases, underwear, face masks and other items for example.
- To exchange, place a new order and return the original for a refund — for size exchanges, contact us if your original item was on sale to match the discount.
- Free return shipping is available within Australia if you are exchanging your order or refunding it to a Rushfaster gift card (valid for 3 years) and use ParcelPoint (if available). International return shipping is always at your own cost.
- Subsidised flat-rate return shipping labels are available for $5 (will be deducted from the return) — this offers substantial savings vs paying for return shipping of our items via AusPost. Australian orders only.
- If your order included a free gift, bundle discount or free shipping, your refund may be adjusted if part of the order is returned.
- Items that are used, damaged, or missing tags/packaging may not be accepted, or may incur a 10% reworking fee.
- You canʼt return items that have been used outside of the house, we have ways of telling - donʼt be that person.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns or charge a fee if our return policy is misused — but your rights under Australian Consumer Law always apply for faulty or misdescribed items.
Exchanges
- Exchanges are free and return shipping is covered by us when you use ParcelPoint (if available in your city) - we want to make sure you have the right size.
- To exchange a product, simply place a new order for the item you want and return the original for a refund. This secures your preferred item before it sells out. Because this is a new sale and a return, please read our T&Cʼs for returns as they apply to your exchange.
- If your original item was purchased on sale, reach out to us via live chat before placing your new order — weʼll provide a discount code to match the original offer or set up a new order for you at the sale price.
- Follow these steps:
- Place and pay for your new order (Contact us if you need a discount code for a sale item)
- Submit this return form, tell us your new order number.
- Send back the original item — youʼll be refunded once itʼs received
Returns
Gear purchased on Rushfaster can be returned for a refund, for change of mind reasons if:
- It’s posted back within 30 days from when your order arrived (If purchased in November or December, you can return by the end of January).
- It’s unused, with original tags attached, in undamaged packaging (if boxed) - we will need photos of each item before we approve a return.
- It isn’t excluded from this return policy (check the product page for product specific return policies).
- It’s not personalised or co-branded.
- It’s not part of a bulk order. A bulk order is 10+ of the same item.
- It’s not a face mask, underwear, swimwear, tent, sleeping bag or gift card.
- Your return history is within normal parameters.
Important points to note
- Free Return Shipping: is available within Australia if your refund is processed to a Rushfaster gift card. Rushfaster gift cards are valid for 3 years. Returns need to be made via ParcelPoint if ParcelPoint is available in your city. We allow 1 free return per order. International return shipping is always at your own cost.

- Free Shipping Threshold: If your return brings the order total below the free shipping minimum, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
- Open Packages Carefully: If you think you may want to return an item, please open the product carefully as packaging needs to be in good condition to return the item.
- Swing Tags Need To Be Attached, Packaging Needs To Be In Good Condition: When initiating a return, please send a clear photo of the tag attached to the product (apparel, carry goods + anything that ships with a tag attached). For any boxed products, please take a photo of the packaging as well as the item. All tags must be attached and packaging needs to be in good condition in order to be returned. For Sneakers / Footwear – Please make sure the soles are clean and free from dust or pet hair. Shoes should only be tried on at home and must be returned in their original shoe box, in perfect condition. To avoid the box being damaged, kindly use the same shipping box they arrived in. If products arrive back to us with damaged boxes, or swing tags not attached, we will refund the item less 10% to cover reworking the products.
- Used Products Can’t Be Returned: If the product has signs of being used (more than just trying on at home) then we will not refund the product and your product can be returned to you at your cost. If you decide not to pay for shipping the item back to you, we will retain the item and not provide a refund.
- Return Policy For Original Purchaser Only: The person who made the order is the only person allowed to initiate a return. If the product is a gift, you should talk with the gift giver.
- Refund Timeframes: In most cases we will process your refund or gift card within 2–3 days after your return has been lodged at ParcelPoint/Australia Post. However in some cases your return may take up to 14 days to be processed. You do not need to follow up your refund until after 14 days.
How to Return
- Take Photos To Prove Eligibility For Return: Include photos of the products you would like to return clearly showing the swing tags are attached, with the barcode showing. If the product comes in a box, please show the box and product with the barcode showing. Please note: If products arrive back to us with damaged boxes, or swing tags not attached, we will refund the item less 10% to cover reworking the products. Please keep your original shipment packaging as this will provide enough protection for your packaging (shoe boxes crush in the mail when shipped in satchels).
- You Can’t Have Used The Product: If the product has signs of being used (more than just trying on at home) then we will not refund the product and your product can be sent back to you at your cost. We have ways of telling - don’t be that person. If you decide not to pay for shipping the item to you, we will retain the item and not provide a refund.
- Fill in This Form: Fill in this return form. We will respond within 2 business days with paperwork.
- Include Paperwork & Lodge: Include your paperwork with your return. Lodge your return before your 30 day return window expires. Returns lodged with ParcelPoint / Australia Post after the 30 day return window are no longer eligible.
Returns on Promotions
If your order included a free gift, bundle discount, or free shipping, your refund will be adjusted to reflect changes caused by the return.
- Free Gifts: Must be returned. If you keep the free item, its value will be deducted from your refund.
- Bundle Discounts: If you return only part of a bundle, we’ll recalculate the discount. Your refund will reflect the full price of the items you kept.
- Free Shipping Threshold: If your return brings the order total below the free shipping minimum, the original shipping cost may be deducted from your refund.
- Other Promotions: Every offer we make will be subject to terms & conditions that may affect your return.
Fair Use Policy
Returns are expensive for us to offer, we offer a generous return policy to make it easier for you to get the right gear - please play nice. To keep returns fair for everyone, we reserve the right at any time to decline a return, charge a fee (10%), or remove all benefits over and above your ACL rights if we feel you are misusing or abusing our services. This includes but isn’t limited to:
- Returning items more often than normal
- Using or wearing items before returning
- Returning items damaged through misuse
We’ll let you know if we take any of these steps. Rushfaster reserves the right at all times to make final decisions on returns that fall outside your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Your Australian Consumer Rights
Under Australian Consumer Law, you’re entitled to a refund, repair or replacement if a product:
- Is faulty or damaged
- Doesn’t do what it’s supposed to
- Doesn’t match the description or sample
The type of remedy depends on the issue — for major problems, you can choose a refund or replacement. For minor issues, we may offer a repair or exchange. You’ll need proof of purchase (your tax invoice that we emailed you), and there’s no strict time limit — just return it within a reasonable time based on the product and problem. Please note: Under Australian Consumer Law we’re not required to accept returns for change of mind reasons. Our return policy gives you benefits in addition to your ACL rights and is provided to make it easier for you to purchase the perfect gear for you.
